Your Festival Skincare Survival Tips

Festival season! All the promise of sunny skies, glittery eyes, dancing, and frolicking in a field with your favourite bands. Skincare can get a little out of whack when bathroom space is a negative and you’re sleeping in a tent. Start out prepared with our festival skincare tips - they’re guaranteed to grant even the most sensitive skin a good time!

Good clean fun

No water on tap to wash your face? No problem. Micellar cleansing water works double-duty to keep skin fresh. Not only does it help remove all trace of the great outdoors (and glitter eye make-up), it will also help hydrate and revive skin too – no bathroom needed!

On-the-go festival face wipes

Simple® Kind to Skin Facial Cleansing Wipes are your best friend when it comes to festival skincare. A pack (or three!) in your backpack will always be put to good use. They’re perfect for freshening up tired skin, wiping away traces of the day, and for touching up make-up on-the-move.

Take cover

It’s easy to forget about the harmful effects of UVA and UVB when there’s dancing to be done, but keep protected against sun damage with a slick of suncream. Pick a daily moisturiser with added SPF so that you’re protected from the get-go, and stash some extra sunscreen in your bag for reapplying on-the-go, as you dance the day away.

Size matters

Less is more! Why not pack minis or decant your products to save on space in your festival kit? Too much to carry is plan Z. Another tip for keeping down the weight is to not pack brand new products. Half a bottle of your favourite cleanser or your well-loved moisturiser still goes a long way and weighs half as much!

Wherever you find yourself this summer, our festival skincare tips will have you sorted, from the opening act, to flicking back over the Insta highlights from the sofa, once the dancing is done.
