SimpleĀ® is kind to skin and to animals too. We are PETA Approved, meaning we do not test our products on animals, anywhere in the world. We believe products that are safe for humans can be developed using non-animal approaches. As a Kind to Skin brand, born in Europe, we are very proud Europe has been ahead of its time for many years and banned animal testing completely since 2013.

Now that we have started expanding the brand geographically outside Europe, we are supporting a Global ban on animal testing everywhere we deploy our brand.

Our parent-company, Unilever, has announced it supports calls for a global ban on animal testing  similar to the existing EU ban.

Just like your skin, our planet has a delicate ecosystem that needs looking after, and we're committed to being kinder to both. You'll notice that we've done away with unnecessary leaflets, made many of our packs recyclable, and have started using recycled and compostable materials in our products and packaging—even changing all of our wipes to be 100% compostable and made with sustainably-sourced wood pulp and plant fiber. We're not stopping there, though. There's still a lot more to be done, and we're determined to be as green as possible, so watch this space for more eco-friendly updates!

All of our skincare products are soap free.

Your skin's sebaceous glands produce sebum, a natural oil that helps to keep skin soft, supple and healthy. Emotional or external triggers-stress, stimulants, hormones, oil-stripping products and even the weather-can send your glands into overdrive. These glands are more concentrated on your forehead, nose and chin. A shiny T-zone with dry cheeks is not unusual.

If you have sensitive skin, there are some common ingredients used in skincare products which you should avoid. Check out the list of harsh ingredients.

It depends. Age, the environment, your lifestyle and diet, your hormonal activity as well as the clothes and jewelry you wear can all be triggers for sensitive skin occasions. All skin can be sensitive at times, due to external causes like pollution or cold weather. Learn more about the triggers of sensitive skin.
