Kindness is at the heart of everything we do

Right from the get-go, the Simple® philosophy has always been about being kind to skin, even the most sensitive, because all skin can be sensitive at times.

1. Our free-from list 

At Simple®, what we leave out of our products is just as important as what we put in! In fact, we only include ingredients that downright love your skin and respect its natural balance.

Because all skin can be sensitive at times. Pollution, stress, irritants, changing weather, lack of sleep and city living, there's a million reasons why your skin can feel a little sensitive and need some extra care and kindness.

This is why if an ingredient doesn't measure up to our strict mildness criteria, it doesn't get anywhere near our products, and gets added to the list of ingredients that we leave out. This is part of our ongoing quest to keep our products as pure as possible-so don't be surprised to see this list grow! You can always trust our skincare will be both gentle and effective on the most delicate of skin. End of story. This list includes:

2. Our skin-loving ingredients

We use only the kindest ingredients, replicating those already found in healthy skin. Our skin is alive, always looking for balance, and the best way to keep it feeling healthy is to seek out ingredients that respect your skin's natural ecosystem. We also use the kindest possible preservatives. (Nobody wants their favorite product becoming a hotbed for bacteria!)

3. Testing for sensitive skin

Even though we leave out the harsh ingredients, we still like to test our products to make sure they're absolutely safe for your skin. We make sure our finished products are as kind to your skin and eyes as possible. So we put them through the wringer to make sure they come out skin-loving on the other side. In fact, all our products are:

Where It All Began

Our cleansing revolution started way back in 1960. We were one of the first to offer facial cleansing that said no to nasty additives like perfume and color. And true to our roots, our products today are still made with no colors or dyes, perfumes or harsh chemicals that can upset your skin. Meaning your skin will love us, always.
